Easter

Remember how two boys take up a lot of time? Yes, I am just now posting about Easter.
We went to three Easter egg hunts. Lincoln was in Heaven.
"Look mom, another egg!!!!"
The Saturday before Easter we went to Hee Haw farms.

 Finding the Easter baskets.

Look what the Easter bunny left for me? (My sister sent me the beautiful flowers, thanks Shar!)

Saying goodbye

We said goodbye to our first car together. Our beautiful black Tundra. You will be missed. You have carried us through many good times and momentousness events.
You were there for our first fight.
 Our first camping trip.
You drove us away from our wedding, you brought both of our babies home, you helped us move, and you were oh so reliable.

You will be missed.

California part three!

Sea World!
Last I promise. We started out the first with the Killer whale show. It was hot and sunny so we decided to sit in the splash zone. The last time Will and I went we didn't get very wet so we figured the boys would be alright. Turns out Spencer and Lincoln don't like gallons of salt water splashed poured on their faces. I'm pretty sure Spencer got a mouth full. I know I did. Never the less it was still a good show. Immediately after being drenched from head to toe, the sun disappeared, and never came back.
The boys were pretty good sports and didn't wine too much.
In case anyone had any dry spots they decided to go on the rapids to solve that problem.
We weren't paying close enough attention and Lincoln pulled the starfish off the rock. oops
 Sea turtles
 The dolphin show was awesome!
When we got up to see Elmo and Big Bird I let go of Lincoln's hand and he took off! Luckily Elmo took off after him and caught him, then escorted him back to take a picture with Big Bird.

I didn't take a lot of pictures did I? I was too cold and miserable and my kids looked like orphans without shoes or socks or clothes on under their jackets. We still had fun, and Lincoln loved looking at all the fish! They really did so good for the whole trip. Lincoln only had a couple tantrums and only got lost once. He walked out behind Will when he went to load up the car. Will didn't know he was behind him, he went to the left and Lincoln went to the right. When I noticed Lincoln was missing I asked Will if he had him, and he said no. Panic set in as we ran around trying to find him. After what seemed like hours (but really only a few minutes) Lincoln came running up. "Mom I'm back!" AHHHHH so scary. Luckily it didn't happen at Disney Land, I think I would have had a heart attach!

We spent a day at the beach, but I forgot to put the battery back in my camera before we left!!! Grrr, thank goodness for camera phones.

On the way home we stopped to see Will's mom in Arizona. We went to the lake which was beautiful. I didn't take any pictures because it was super windy and I didn't want to get sand in my camera.

California part two!

Disney Land/California Adventure!
The boys were both asleep, but that didn't keep us from seeing Donald Duck!
We waited in line for 45 min to see Rapunzel. Lincoln loves Tangled! Unfortunately I had to wake him up from his nap to meet her, so he wasn't very happy.
This was right before Spence and Linc attacked Pluto, trying to pry his mouth open.
 Lincoln giving Goofy a kiss.

We met up with my Sister Soni and her family.

 Lincoln's favorite.

"The line for Mini Mouse is how long?"
We decided 1 1/2 hours was too long after waiting for Mickey.

This was so sweet! Lincoln just ran up and gave Bob the builder a big hug.

 Lincoln pressing Buzz's buttons.

 Tarzan's tree house

Lincoln loved seeing the bugs from Bugs Life.

Spencer likes to tease his older brother.
Oh we had so much fun!!!! Lincoln loved seeing all the characters from his favorite movies. We started watching all of the Disney movies before we went so he would know who they were. Spencer liked them too. We got to see the fireworks, The Wonderful World of Colors, and Fantasmic! They were awesome!
It had been 14 years since either of us had been to Disney Land, and it will probably be another 10 before we go again.
