We took Lincoln swimming a few weeks ago at the Legacy center in Lehi with my seester Justine, her baby Kolby, my little seeter Cassidy and my little brother Hamilton. They have an AWESOME pool! It was 92 degrees...mostly because of all the pee.
Lincoln loved it!!!! He only pooped once.

RSV
This day has been a stressful one.
A week and a half ago Lincoln was supposed to get his second synagis shot. We went in and they told us we would have to wait until our medicaid pre-authorized it. Apparently the program medicaid selected for us isn't a very good one. NOT THAT I AM COMPLAINING AT ALL.
I go into work after Lincoln's appointment and low and behold the preschool had a breakout of RSV, the very condition for which the synagis is a vaccination.
After several phone calls the shot finally arrived at the doctors today. The only problem was Lincoln was congested all night and had a small cough, symptoms of not only the common cold but also RSV. I called and asked if they could still give him the shot with symptoms of RSV, they said yes, and I headed to the docs. Once I got there I found out the doctor had a different oppinion. He didn't feel comfortable giving the shot until he knew that Lincoln didn't have RSV.
He sent us to the hospital to test him. When the lady got out the nasal tube I felt a huge relief...they just test his snot.
DEAD WRONG!
I have never seen Lincoln cry so hard. It doesn't get easier to see your baby in pain.
Poor little guy.
So now we wait for the test results to come back.
If he doesn't have it he will get his shot on Monday.

three months
It's hard to believe that Lincoln is already three months old.
Her are his stats.
Height- 24 1/4 inches- 50 percentile
Weight- A whopping 12.2 pounds!- 25 percentile
Head circumference....14 1/2 inches....1 percentile
Not bad for spending the first 6 weeks of your life in the CVICU.
His resiliency amazes me.
Lincoln is such a good baby!
~He loves to smile.
~He loves his baths, and going swimming.
~He is constantly trying to sit up. In his car seat, in the bouncer chair,on the boppy, it makes me laugh.
~He loves sucking on his fingers.
~He hates tummy time. He burrows his head into the ground and walks his feet up until his bum is up in the air and then he falls to the side.
~He loves reading books.
~Still not sleeping through the night...not that I expected it...but hey a girl can hope. He usually goes 4 hours in the night without eating. Any suggestions would be appreciated:)

The surgery was a success!
Lincoln had his 2nd cardiologist appointment. Dr. Gray actually said "The surgery was a success." I kinda laughed at this. Didn't we already know that. But then I started thinking about how lucky we are that he is doing so well. There are so many things that could have gone wrong. But they didn't, and the surgery was a success:) It's official.
The fluid is completely gone around Lincoln's heart, so he is off his Lasix. Wahoo! He also gained 2 pounds in 2 weeks! He is getting to be quite the chubby baby.
As the bills come pouring in, literally pouring, I am more and more grateful the we got medicaid. Lincoln was in the hospital for 36 days. He qualified for disability after 30, otherwise we would be paying 20 percent of Lincoln's bills. And like Will says, 20 percent of a lot equals a lot.
Don't get me wrong, I would have been equally grateful if Lincoln only had to stay in the hospital for 2 or 3 weeks. Every day was a struggle. All I know is God knows what he is doing. Never doubt him.
We finally saw the bill for the surgery.
Drum roll please..............
$44,000
Worth every penny we're not paying. ;)
Here's a picture of our little chubs.
