three months

It's hard to believe that Lincoln is already three months old.
Her are his stats.

Height- 24 1/4 inches- 50 percentile
Weight- A whopping 12.2 pounds!- 25 percentile
Head circumference....14 1/2 inches....1 percentile

Not bad for spending the first 6 weeks of your life in the CVICU.
His resiliency amazes me.
Lincoln is such a good baby!

~He loves to smile.
~He loves his baths, and going swimming.
~He is constantly trying to sit up. In his car seat, in the bouncer chair,on the boppy, it makes me laugh.
~He loves sucking on his fingers.
~He hates tummy time. He burrows his head into the ground and walks his feet up until his bum is up in the air and then he falls to the side.
~He loves reading books.
~Still not sleeping through the night...not that I expected it...but hey a girl can hope. He usually goes 4 hours in the night without eating. Any suggestions would be appreciated:)

Such a cutie!! My baby boy just in the last couple months started sleeping really good through the night. They will tease you though. One night they will sleep good and your like "yes!!" and then the next night its back to the old routine haha.

What cute pictures!!! And Tucker didn't sleep through the night until he was a year old. Sad. Hopefully Lincoln doesn't take that long! He started eating only twice a night (between 7 pm and 7 am) from about 3-5 months, and then he just ate once a night from 5 months until he was a year--the week of his birthday was when he finally slept through the night! I was tempted to wean him off the middle of the night feeding, but he was a good sleeper otherwise, so I figured if he was waking up to eat, he must need it. And he did. He's always been less than the 25% for weight (mostly the 1% actually...), so the doctors reassured me that he needed extra calories. Once he decided he was ready to sleep through the night, he did it consistently. So I say do what you feel is right. You can try to train him to eat less often, or you can just let him call the shots. Every baby is different, and only you know him best. Good luck! It's a hard thing to know what to do! If it makes you feel any better, your body gets a lot more used to it, and after about the 5th month I really didn't mind getting up. Good luck though!

Lincoln looks sooooooooooooo happy! I smile from head to toe every time I look at those pix. What a cutie pie!! His stats sounds great. Happy "three-months" old to Lincoln.

I would make suggestions for sleeping through the night if Lincoln had not had heart surgery, etc. I think he probably does need those extra snacks in the night. Go with your gut. You'll know. The triplets didn't sleep through the night until they were a year old. So when you're up in the night with Lincoln, just think: it could be three babies. :)

So cute! I can't believe he is already 3 months old. I just started feeding Bradley rice cereal and he started sleeping from 8pm to 6am, so I guess that is through the night. But don't get discouraged. Don't think that he needs to be sleeping through the night any sooner than he is ready to....it doesn't make you a better parent :)

BTW, I wanted to let you know that I loved your talk on Sunday. You did a great job. I didn't know you lost your dad to cancer. My dad passed away from cancer also. SO hard to have to go through that at such a young age. Thanks so much for sharing.

Just be grateful it is 4 hours :) My first woke up to eat until 9 months old-until then it was about every 3-3 1/2 hours. Not sure what I've done differently with my other 2, but they both slept through the night much earlier. I personally think its just each child's temperament-plus, your guy had a rough start. Good luck.
