Will is spending the night at the hospital to work with Lincoln on his feedings. We seem to have more patience and time than the nurses do. Last night they put him back on oxygen because his sats were low during his feeding. We are convinced that his sats were low because he was fed by the pump instead of at his own pace. His sats have never dropped when we feed him. Maybe he just likes us better than the nurses. Will took the oxygen off of him first thing this morning and he was fine.
We heard again from the surgeon that we could be discharged on Friday as long as his echo(heart ultrasound) looks good. He had some fluid build up on his last one so they want to ensure that it is decreasing or at least not increasing . So here's hoping...again!
He loved the wagon ride!
This side smile tells me one thing, Lincoln will get away with murder.

Oh my goodness I'm so excited. He is amazing! I laughed when you said he likes to prove people wrong like his mama, haha! He is so amazing! Jake loved that he got to ride in a little radio flyer. He he. We are praying that all goes well and you get to go home asap!

The wagon ride looked like it was fun! Lincoln is seriously so cute--love the picture of him smiling! And way to go with breastfeeding! Hopefully it keeps going well. And Will is such a good dad to stay with him all night. (You're a great mom too.) Lincoln is so lucky to have you both. We'll keep our fingers crossed he eats well so that you can come home soon! What a perfect Thanksgiving present!

You two are such great parents already! I'm glad you both have the patience to prove the doctors and nurses wrong left and right! We are so excited to hear you might be coming home soon :) The ward is missing you!!

Just FYI, they can measure how much he has eaten during nursing by weighing him before and after
1/4 of an ounce = 7 grams
So for 2 ounces he should gain 56 grams
